Have More or Less Kids Than These Options?
Plate 108 offers a sliding scale for custom sized parties. Because of the nature of our parties, we recommend that you have a number that is divisible by 2 or 3 (the kids work in groups to complete tasks). Each additional child is $38.
Cupcake Wars
Compete in teams and race against the clock to create the most delicious, creative, and decorative cupcakes!
Kids will be divided in to teams to create the best cupcakes! In round one, the kids will come up with a team name, a theme for their cupcakes, and then make their batter (we provide the recipes). While we bake off the cupcakes, our pastry chef will give a demonstration on how to properly use different icing tips to create a variety of designs on the cupcakes. Once the cupcakes are cooled, we will begin round two. The kids will have to decorate all of their cupcakes, sticking to their theme, in the designated time. Don't forget -- there will be a MYSTERY INGREDIENT that has to be incorporated in some way! Once the time has expired, the judges will be evaluating the cupcakes based on Presentation, Taste, and Creativity. We'll hand out awards and the kids will get to take home all of their extra cupcakes!
A 10% service charge applies to all kids private parties. This covers labor, overhead, etc.

Pizza Wars
Similar to Cupcake Wars, but with a savory twist!
Kids will be divided in to teams to create the best pizza! They will come up with a team name, roll out their homemade dough, and choose the toppings of their choice to create the perfect pizza!
Parents: Tomato Sauce, Cheese, and Pepperoni are included.
Please select up to 3 additional vegetable toppings, 1 additional protein topping,
and 1 additional sauce for the kids to choose (all optional):
Onions, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Olives, Spinach, Banana Peppers, Pineapple
Ham, Chicken, Bacon, Sausage

Make Your Own Pasta
Kids will learn how to make their own pasta from scratch! They will make their own pasta dough, roll it out, and cut the dough into pappardelle for them to enjoy! They will also make garlic bread to complement their pasta dish.
Parents: Please choose either Marinara or Alfredo Sauce with Beef or Chicken for the chef to add to the pasta (optional).

What You Need To Know:
When should I schedule my kids cooking party?
Our availability is based on our chef's schedule. The only day we are closed is Sunday's.
Please contact us well in advance (at least 3 weeks) so we can plan to schedule your preferred date and time!
How long are your kids cooking parties?
Parties generally last 1.5 - 2 hours, including time to eat.
Where are your parties located?
We are located at 108 E. Poinsett Street in Downtown Greer and 3318 Brushy Creek Road in Greer. When you call to set up your party, our Events Manager will let you know which location(s) are available

What ages to my kids have to be?
All of our kids parties are for children ages 8+, excluding Cupcake Wars which is for ages 5+.
How Many Kids can you accommodate?
We can accommodate 16 kids at our Downtown Greer location.
Do my kids need any prior cooking experience?
No prior cooking experience is required!
What are your prices and what's included?
We have 2 price points that we work with, based upon the number of kids you are planning on inviting.
8 Kids - $300
12 Kids - $400
16 Kids - $600
This includes experienced chef(s) and staff to instruct and assist your kids, the choice of one of our delicious menus, all food for your selected menu, all paper products including plates, napkins, utensils, cups, etc., a water station, all set up and clean up for the event, and the private rental of our kitchen for 2 hours.
*If you have more of less kids, we can work with you to develop a price that fits your party size.
What can parents bring with them?
As a parent, you don't need to bring anything! But we have had some parents bring the following in the past:
Decorations (no table sprinkles or noise makers, please)
Other Beverages (juice, soda, etc.)
Snacks or Lunch
Birthday Cake
All of the above is totally optional, but certainly allowed. We would advise against bringing a birthday cake if the menu you have selected is Cupcake Wars, as the kids make plenty of cupcakes.
