Frequently Asked Questions
Plate 108 Gift certificate policy:
Gift certificates are good from 1 year from date of purchase. It is clearly marked in the email that is delivered or on the paper gift certificate. South Carolina law regarding gift certificates usage and limitations is as follows.
S.C. Code Ann. §39-1-55(B)
Gift certificates cannot expire before the first anniversary of the date the certificate was sold or issued, unless the expiration date is disclosed as specified.
At Plate 108 we do our best to help our customers. However we can extend or honor anything past that 12 month expiration date. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We were extending the time frame in 2021 because of the lock downs in 2020. However we are now in 2023. If you have an expired gift card or a class credit that was issued in 2020, 2021, or before this date of 2022. You will not be able to use it. Thank you for your understanding regarding this matter.
Class refunds and credits:
If you were issued a credit for a class that you were for whatever reason not able to attend. The class credit is valid for 90 days from the date it was issued. We offer ample courses and events for you to be able to redeem the credit. After 90 days the credit is no longer valid and you will forfeit the funds. The class credit can not be rolled over if there are multiple cancellations. If you reschedule your event or class and are unable to attend the credited event or class then the funds are forfeited and the credit is void.
If you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason a refund will be offered if the cancellation is 72 hours prior to the event or class. There is a ticket processing fee of $5.00 per ticket that will not be refunded. The $5.00 processing fee is only applicable to credit card refunds.
Tickets for class and events that are canceled the day of the event will be only credited 50% of the face value. Since we would have already purchased the supplies and food for your attendance. No refunds will be given. You will only receive a credit of 50 % towards a future event or class. Credits will only be given if customer requests the credit in writing (email [email protected])
*When tickets are purchased these are the terms and conditions that are agreed upon.
